Montana’s North Battleford funds new award

THE BATTLEFORDS — Applications for the Montana’s Hospitality Award Fund are now being accepted.

Montana’s North Battleford established the fund with Battlefords and District Community Foundation (BDCF) to encourage high school graduates to take training for careers in the hospitality industry. Students who are taking culinary arts or hotel and restaurant management are eligible to apply.

Battlefords and District Community Foundation currently manages more than 30 funds that will contribute to a range of interests from the arts and health care to post-secondary scholarships and recreation. BDCF will distribute over $60,000 in annual community grants and scholarships this year. To date, their donors have provided over $2 million to community groups and projects.
