Photo-finish silver medal for Team Sask at Canada Winter Games

It was a photo-finish with Saskatchewan finishing just short of the team’s first gold medal.

REGINA - Saskatchewan is now at nine total medals after another solid day at the 2023 Canada Winter Games.

Team Sask has added another silver medal, this time in the men’s pursuit. It was a photo-finish with Saskatchewan finishing just short of the team’s first gold medal. Quebec finished in 04:16.55 while Saskatchewan was 04:17.14.

Earlier in the women’s 3,000m, Serena Dallaire picked up her second medal of the Winter Games as she finished third in a time of 04:59.66. She finished just 00:00.51 behind second place Rachel Mallard of Ontario.

These medals are in addition to the two won earlier in the day by Bon Lowe and Luca Veeman in the men's 5,000 m.
