BUCHANAN - The rink skipped by Brandon Zuravloff went undefeated and won the first event of the Buchanan Bonspiel, held from Feb. 15-18, followed by a banquet and pic-a- prize.
A total of nine rinks were entered. On Saturday, the first event final game played at 1:30 p.m. was between the Lenard Bazarski and Brandon Zuravloff rinks, resulting in Zuravloff’s foursome remaining undefeated and taking first place.
Earlier play included the semi-final games in the third event, then later the third event final, at four o’clock with the Darren Zuravloff rink victorious over the Glen Teslia foursome.
Play on the other sheet at four o’clock featured another final between rinks skipped by Bob Kolodziejski and Kent Zuravloff, resulting with the Zuravloff rink taking first place in the second event.
