KAMSACK — Electric Skin Tattoo, a well-known establishment in Kamsack, has recently relocated to a new location following the closure of the Crowstand Centre. The tattoo shop, owned by Randy Leis, has moved to the corner of First Street and Second Avenue, where it aims to continue serving its clientele.

The decision to relocate came after the closure of the Crowstand Centre, prompting Electric Skin Tattoo to find a new space to operate. Leis expressed excitement about the move, noting that the new location offers several advantages. The shop now boasts more space, allowing for a more comfortable and accommodating environment for both staff and customers. Additionally, Randy Leis mentioned appreciating the presence of windows in the new space, providing natural light and a more pleasant atmosphere compared to the previous location.

“I have windows now. It's nice to have more room, I like it better. I also have more people stopping by.” Leis said,

One notable improvement highlighted by Leis is the ability to have a prominent sign outside the new premises, making it easier for customers to locate the shop. Plans are also in place to install additional signage in the coming months, further enhancing visibility.

Leis, despite some consistent pressure from locals, still does not do piercings.

“It’d be nice to have because I don't know who does (piercings). I get people every week bugging me to know where to send them. And I don’t know anybody who does (piercings) nearby.”
