Forecast of top GDP growth in SK

The Conference Board of Canada released its Autumn 2011 Provincial Outlook Executive Summary and is forecasting Saskatchewan will have the best GDP growth in Canada this year with real GDP expected to rise by 5.1 per cent.

Housing affordability improving

Saskatchewan's housing affordability broadly improved in the third quarter of 2011, according to the latest Housing Trends and Affordability Report issued by RBC Economics. This reverses part of the deterioration in affordability earlier in the year.
