The Kamsack RCMP and Swan River RCMP located missing Dominican tourist Santos Nunez on September 15. Nunez was found in a field on the Saskatchewan/Manitoba Border just south of Thunderhill which is located just northwest of Benito, Manitoba.

A walk in remembrance of Tammy Kulaway and her dog Sammy is being held in Springside Oct. 2. The Tam & Sam Walk Against Violence is being organized by Mandee Kulaway. "Tammy was a kind loving unforgettable person," said Mandee Kulaway.
