If you like taking photographs an upcoming walk-about should be on your calendar. As part of Yorkton Culture Days, the Yorkton Photography Guild will be holding a photo ‘walkday’ Saturday, Oct. 17.

The Honour Our Veterans Banner Program has hung banners on streets across Yorkton. Each banner highlights a veteran from the Yorkton area. The first set of banners have been installed, and more will be installed in October.

The Saskat​​​chewan Health Authority (SHA) is advising of a cluster of COVID-19 cases in the Yorkton area and has declared an outbreak in the Yorkton Regional Health Centre as of September 27, 2020.

There are 14 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on September 28, bringing the total to 1,892 reported cases. The new cases are located in the Far North West (1), Saskatoon (3), Central East (7) and Regina (3) zones.
