The Sunrise Health Region continues to run a deficit on its 2013-14 operating budget.

The latest innovation of Sunrise Health Region will open its doors in the fall of 2014 in a building under construction at 259 Hamilton Road in Yorkton.

Loreen Poier has been reappointed to the Yorkton Housing Authority Board of Directors. Other members of the board of directors are Vern Brown, Glenn Wiseman, Jeannette Wheeler, Erin Clifford and Kenneth Atkinson. Brown is chairperson.

Yorkton Fire Protective Services unveiled its new truck Monday. "Now, we not only have probably the best building in the province, but a state-of-the-art truck to go with it," said Bob Maloney, Yorkton mayor.
