“I’m going to semi-retire!” say Brian Taylor.

SASKATOON  — When Brian Taylor saw there was a $2 million-winning WESTERN 649 ticket sold in Saskatoon, he was excited.

As it turned out, he had a reason to be! Taylor won $2 million on the Nov. 3 draw.

“I checked my numbers on the WCLC website, I just wasn’t sure about the last number,” he recalled. “But when I saw the winning ticket was purchased in Saskatoon I thought, ‘That must be me!’”

“After that, I scanned my ticket on the Lotto Spot app and saw all the zeroes – I couldn’t believe it!” he continued. “All I could say was, ‘Wow! I hit it!’”

Taylor said he has a few ideas for his winnings, starting with a big life change.

“I’m going to semi-retire!” he said. “It’s been a dream of mine for a while and I’m really looking forward to just taking it easy.”

The happy winner said he also plans to upgrade his wife’s vehicle and his truck.

Taylor purchased his winning WESTERN 649 ticket from the Shell Select located at 1828 McOrmond Dr. in Saskatoon. His winning numbers were 6, 17, 31, 33, 38 and 48. He won two WESTERN 649 Free Plays in subsidiary prizes.
