Carlyle RCMP: Arrest made in relation to break and enter, stolen vehicle

In the early morning hours of July 2, 2019, Carlyle RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter in progress at a business in the RM of Moose Mountain. When members arrived on scene, the suspect had left.

In the early morning hours of July 2, 2019, Carlyle RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter in progress at a business in the RM of Moose Mountain.

When members arrived on scene, the suspect had left.

 

Surveillance video from the business identified one adult male arriving in a vehicle that had been reported to Carnduff RCMP as stolen from Alameda the day prior.

 

As a result of the investigation, a 25 year-old male from Medicine Hat, Alberta, was taken into custody at a rural property near Kennedy, Saskatchewan, without incident. He has been charged with numerous Criminal Code charges including: possession of property obtained by crime; break and enter with intent; theft under $5,000; and two counts of breach of recognizance.

 

He will make his first appearance in Carlyle Provincial Court on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
