The Health Foundation has announced that the Churchbridge Lions have made a $500 donation to assist the purchase of lab equipment for the Yorkton Regional Hospital.
Churchbridge Lions President Matt Matcyk, presented the cheque to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation.
“We are not able to hold fundraising events this year but we still have a few funds in the bank from activities in previous years,” said Matcyk. “Our Lions Club feels it is important to continue to support our local healthcare if we can and that’s why we are making this donation,” he continued.
“We are very pleased to receive this donation,” said Ross Fisher. “We know this will be a difficult year for most community organizations to raise money, ourselves included, so we are grateful to have other community organizations continue to support our work in this difficult time.”
