Saskatoon residents can now access zoning information digitally.

SASKATOON — The city of Saskatoon has made getting zoning information more convenient by going digital; data and other updates are now available at your fingertips.

May 17, the city launched the new digital zoning bylaw system, an online version of bylaw 8770 – zoning bylaw, 2009

The online version makes it easier to find information on specific areas of the city, through an easy-to-navigate interface as well as interactive maps.

Previously, the zoning bylaw was available in a print and pdf format only. The 525-page document was cumbersome when seeking specific information.

Now, by going to saskatoon.ca/digitalzoningbylaw, builders, homeowners and anyone else can easily find the information they need, according to the city.

Future versions of the digital zoning bylaw will include a search function and other improved functionalities.
