The City of Yorkton is advising all residents that, effective midnight, a Snow Route Parking ban will go into effect, so the plows can safely and effectively clear the snow from the roads. The parking ban on arterial streets (Red Routes) remain in effect for 72 hours, or until the snow is cleared, while the downtown area (Blue Route) will be effective from midnight to 7 am, or until the snow is cleared. Day parking is permitted in the downtown area so business can operate on a normal basis. Signage is in place on all designated routes.
