COVID clinic closing, but many options available

Saskatoon residents can still access COVID-19 vaccinations through walk-in clinics and booked appointments.

SASKATOON — The Saskatchewan Health Authority advises that the COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon is closing with the end of the lease agreement.

The last day the clinic is open to the public is Wednesday, July 27  at 4:00 p.m.

Saskatoon and area residents have several options available to get vaccinated including:

Walk-in clinics:

Walk-in clinics are offered at other locations in Saskatoon. Please see a complete list with dates and times for walk-in and pop-up vaccination clinics.

Booked appointments:

Booked vaccination appointments can be made using the Online Patient Booking system effective July 29, 2022. Availability of appointments varies by location.

Parents and guardians of all children aged six months up to five years can phone in to book an appointment by calling 1-833-Sask-VAX (1-833-727-5829). If parents/guardians are scheduling their children’s routine vaccinations (MMR, varicella), speak to public health staff about receiving the COVID-19 immunization at the same time.

Residents may also book a vaccination appointment at participating pharmacies. Please note: Pharmacists cannot provide vaccinations to children younger than five years of age.
