Eager Preeceville shoppers get jump start at Christmas gifts

Christmas time is the time for local vendors to shine and showcase their art.

PREECEVILLE — Christmas shoppers and vendors enjoyed visiting at the Christmas craft sale held at the Preeceville Community Legion Hall.

The Dec. 2 sale featured 25 vendors with many people taking advantage to do some shopping. It was sponsored by the Nordic Ski Club and the Preeceville Library.

The Nordic Ski Club held a variety of raffles that were drawn for at the end of the sale. Vendors and what was offered were, Megan Maier with Prairie Flavours Ranch products, Tupperware, The Missing Piece footcare and first aid, Veillardville Shop metal decor  creations, Seint make-up,  Ceramics, leather mitts and moccasins, Young Living Oils, Scentsy, Christmas baking, 31 Gifts, Grace and Joy Photography, Mystic Luna artwork, Country Fresh, Christmas crafts, Mary Kay, Adley and Sage Ward, baking, Phyllis Berbeek with baking, Vesela’s International Kitchen, Susan Serhan with baking, Judy Bjorntad with artwork and Fay Meyers with recycled soalr lights.

Santa and Mrs. Claus visited with the children and they also read a book to the children. Children received a literacy bag full of goodies and also had the opportunity to play with literacy related items.

Ketchen Lake Bible Camp prepared the lunch.
