The money was partially raised through a holiday fundraiser by staff, which raised $2200 through ticket sales for some prize draws.
Harvey the Hotdog’s Christmas Wish was also granted as he got to see one of STARS’ new Airbus H145 helicopters up close.
The money was presented to STARS because Harvest Meats and staff believe “we are very fortunate to have this emergency transport service available to us in our province and community,” noted a release.
