Impaired driver hits two other vehicles evading Saskatoon police

No injuries were reported from occupants of the other vehicles

SASKATOON — A vehicle ran into two others Thursday attempting to evade police while impaired. The driver of the truck, a 60-year-old man, was arrested and transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services, with non-life threatening injuries.

On Feb. 10 at around 11:15 p.m., police observed a truck travelling westbound on 33rd Street West, near Avenue P North, at a high rate of speed. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but it did not stop. While evading police, the vehicle collided with two other vehicles before stopping. No injuries were reported from occupants of the other vehicles.

The 60-year-old man is charged with impaired driving, exceed .08, and dangerous driving.
