SASKATOON — An Insightrix Research Inc. survey has found support in Saskatchewan for the Freedom Convoy truck protests in Ottawa to be softening.

Results for the week of Feb. 10 show support for the stance of the convoy calling for removal of the vaccine requirement for truckers to cross the Canada/U.S. Border has slipped to 35 per cent from 41 per cent last week.

Results also suggest support for the convoy's call to reduce pandemic restrictions in general has dropped to 39 per cent from 41 per cent last week.

Finally, survey respondents' support for the convoy's protest against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in general is at 49 per cent, down from 54 per cent last week.
