The Village of MacNutt Council met on February 2, 2021, at 7:10 PM with Mayor Wagner calling the meeting to order with all council members present.
The first order of business was to review the agenda. Councillor Andrews made a motion to accept the agenda as read; motion carried.
Next, the council reviewed the minutes of the December 30, 2021, regular meeting. Councillor Cartwright made a motion to accept the minutes which was carried.
Carrying on, the council reviewed the correspondence received by the village over the last month including; Solarcor offering information on solar power generators, Real Estate Enquiry, Johnson Shoyama - Municipal Sector Governance Program, Minister of Health about the COVID vaccine, USASS - has a webinar for subdivision and planning bylaws, SUMA Annual General Meeting will be held vertically on April 8, 2021, Cathay Wagantall - on the Canada Summer Student Jobs Funding, Tree Canada - asking for Donations, Sgt. Geoffrey Stringfellow giving an RCMP update, and Sask Research Council - General Chemical water test results. Councillor Andrews made a motion to file the correspondence; motion carried.
Next, the council heard from a delegation. It was presented to the council that there are some concerns with the village clerk and past council.
The council reviewed the financials for January 2021 with Councillor Andrews making the motion to approve; motion carried.
Next, the council reviewed the payables to be approved. Councillor Andres made a motion to accept; motion carried.
Moving on to old business, the council discussed the Kinetic Purchasing Agreement, the old SUMAAsure, as the council needed to update the agreement.
The meeting was then adjourned by Mayor Wagner.
