Man charged after stabbing incident in Saskatoon

Saskatoon police assisted the victim, who suffered serious injuries.

SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit has laid charges in connection to a stabbing incident that occurred early Sunday morning.

On Oct. 31, at approximately 2 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report that a person had been stabbed during an altercation in the 100 block of 24th Street East.

The 23-year-old victim was located outside on the street and was immediately transported to hospital with serious injuries.

This incident is not believed to be random, and a 22-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault.
