Man facing sexual assault charges appears in court on additional charges

Police believe there could be more victims from the last 20 years in Blaine Lake, Loon Lake, Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatoon and surrounding areas.

SASKATOON – A 60-year-old man charged with sexual assault against numerous victims while acting as a healer had another appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on two more charges.

Cecil Wolfe, 60, faces four sexual assault charges laid by the Saskatoon Police and seven charges from the RCMP. Additional charges against Wolfe were laid on March 3. The Saskatoon Police Sex Crimes Unit originally charged Wolfe in September 2021. More victims came forward afterwards and more charges were also laid that month.

Wolfe has been released on bail and appears again on March 30 to elect how he wants to be tried. 

The charges against Wolfe haven’t been proven in court.
