Man suffers gunshot wound

It is not known where the incident took place or what type of firearm was used, or if it might have been a pellet gun.  

SASKATOON — A 26-year-old male is recovering from his injury following a report of an injured person in the 1000 block of Boychuck Drive.

The Saskatoon Police Service, at approximately 10 p.m., received a call from the man who reported having been shot.

Upon arrival officers located the man behind a strip mall and he was then transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services.

It was found that he was suffering from a serious but non-life-threatening gunshot wound. It is not known where the incident took place or what type of firearm was used, or if it might have been a pellet gun.
