YORKTON - M.C. Knoll School has a refurbished, revamped and generally brand new playground thanks to community support for a fundraising effort.

Started in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were still able to raise more than $100,000, which covered the $93,000 installation of new equipment and landscaping, and leaves a few thousand to be invested in future work, said M.C. Knoll principal Phil Adams.

Much of the installation was carried out by volunteers, he added.
