SASKATOON — A motorcycle collided with a guardrail and a light standard in Saskatoon Saturday, killing the driver.

The Saskatoon Police Service Collision Analyst Unit is investigating a fatal, single vehicle collision that occurred early Saturday morning.

At approximately 1 a.m., July 23, police were called to Spadina Crescent near 25th Street East. The 53-year-old male operator of the motorcycle was transported to Royal University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The man's next-of-kin has been notified and an autopsy will be conducted by the Saskatchewan Coroner's Service.
