New Zealand U19 Just Softball International Softball Academy will visit Wadena on Wednesday night for a double header in Men’s Fastball.
The team will face the Rosebud Junior Royals (5-time Provincial Champions) at 5:45 with the world famous HAKA DANCE scheduled for about 5:15. Following Game one will be a group picture of all 3 teams, then the Rosebud Royals will face the New Zealand boys.
The New Zealand Just Softball Academy comes to Western Canada yearly and this is their second trip to Wadena. Their full schedule is below. The Rosebud Junior Royals (formerly the Wadena Wildcats) did a similar tour to New Zealand and Australia in February of 2019. The Rosebud Royals have been in existence since 1970 and plan to have a large 50th celebration in 2020.
