They will resume their journey on Tuesday

SASKATOON — Lindsey Bishop and Krista Fox received an emotional welcome Friday morning in Saskatoon as family and friends joined them in their walk to raise awareness of the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

Bishop and Fox are making their cross-country walk to keep the public aware of unsolved cases like the former's sister, Megan Gallagher, who went missing in September 2020.

Bishop and Fox, who is making the journey for Ashley Morin,who went missing in North Battleford in July 2018, began their walk in British Columbia then made their way into Alberta and now to Saskatoon.
