A man with a loaded firearm and bear spray has been arrested in Saskatoon.

A man was arrested after a firearm was discharged Thursday evening. 

At approximately 8 p.m., Aug. 12, police responded to a report of a discharged firearm in an alley north of the 1500 block of 20th Street West.

Upon investigation, officers located a male in the area and found he had a firearm tied to his leg, and a second firearm in a bag hidden under his shirt.

The second firearm was found to be loaded. Police also seized a can of bear spray and a knife from the bag. 

The 26-year-old man is facing 20 weapons-related charges.
