“Imagination-based learning, social interaction, and fundamental pre-school skills are presented to the children in a variety of scenarios, “ said Lori Newton, teacher.

The nursery school operates each Tues-day and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the three-year-old class, and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the four-year-old class. The nursery school follows the Good Spirit School Division calendar regarding holidays, and runs from September until May.

The school is operated by a parent-run board of elected members. There is one teacher, Lori Newton, and volunteer parent helpers. Executive members for the new school year are: Rhea Pole, president; Brit-tany Balawyder, vice-president; Shantelle Descalchuk, secretary and treasurer; and directors Bobbian Danielson and Calla Erickson.

“All children attending school must be potty trained and three years of age before December 31 of the starting school year,” said Newton.
