SASKATOON — The City of Saskatoon is informing motorists that certain portions of 20th and Taylor streets will be closed on Friday for road repairs.
As the weather continues to improve, city crews will be conducting water and roadway work on 20th Street closing the portion between avenues U and V.
The road closure begins Friday at 9 a.m. and the project is expected to take six days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Also at 9a.m. on Friday, Taylor Street will be closed between Lansdowne and York avenues for valve repair works.
This Taylor Street project is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Sanitary sewer connection repair work will close down Cumberland Avenue between Aird and Osler streets starting at 9 a.m. on Friday.
The intersection at Cumberland Avenue and Temperance Street will be closed during this project.
On Thursday night, at 8 p.m., Traffic Bridge between Saskatchewan and Spadina crescents will be closed for bridgework.
Detours will be put in place to guide motorists around the work zones of the said projects. Saskatoon Transit may also be affected by these detours.
