SASKATOON — Police have arrested a woman after an investigation into possible human trafficking.

The Saskatoon Police Service Vice and Human Trafficking Unit has made an arrest in connection with a sexual procurement investigation, involving minors.

On Dec. 21, 2021, an investigation was opened regarding a local, online spa business. It was believed the business had procured, advertised and facilitated sexual services involving minors. As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old woman was arrested on Feb. 16.

The 23-year-old woman faces charges of procurement of a person to offer sexual services, procurement of a minor to offer sexual services (x2), advertising sexual services, material benefit from sexual services and material benefit from sexual services provided by a minor.
