Warrant issued for man after he fails to appear in Saskatoon court

Jason Draude is facing six firearms-related offences, possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and MDMA, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000, and possession of forged documents

SASKATOON – A warrant has been issued for a man arrested by the Saskatoon Police (SPS) Drug Unit and Guns & Gangs Units after he failed to appear in court.

Jason Draude, 42, failed to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court Nov. 4 and as of Nov. 10 he still hadn’t been captured or turned himself in.

In September, SPS arrested Draude outside a residence in the 200 block of Avenue S north following an investigation where they say they observed activity consistent with drug trafficking.

During the search, police located methamphetamine, cash, fake ID’s, cell phones, a firearm, and a collapsible baton.

Draude was charged with six firearms-related offences, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, and MDMA, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000, and possession of forged documents.
