Woman charged with impaired driving after five sent to hospital

In Saskatoon, a 32-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm and exceeding the legal alcohol limit causing bodily harm.

SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested and charged a woman after a vehicle collision Sunday that sent five people to hospital.

SPS says on June 12 at approximately 8:45 p.m., police responded to the intersection of 1st Avenue North and 24th Street East where two vehicles had been involved in a collision.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a 32-year-old woman, was arrested at the scene. Five people in the second vehicle were taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services, with non-life threatening injuries.

The 32-year-old woman is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm and exceeding the legal alcohol limit causing bodily harm.
