The Eastern Professional Chariot & Chuckwagon Association and the Manitoba Professional Chuckwagon & Chariot Association met up at the Yorkton Summer Fair for a combined event. The three-day meet attracted nearly 50 wagons, and in spite of rain that led to some muddy conditions, especially Thursday evening, the competition was a strong one. When the dust and mud had settled Larry Salmond had the top three-day time at 193.60, just fractions of a second ahead of Carol Hogue with 193.80.
