Brad Knutson of Norquay, curling with Bob Lumley, Wilf Romanow and Vi Knutson topped the Arran annual bonspiel which was held January 24 to 31.
The Knutson team defeated the Lionel Hanson rink of Swan River which included Byron Zbirun, Darwin Homeniuk and Jennifer Homeniuk.
Placing third and fourth in the championship event were the Derek Kruk rink of Yorkton and the Don Hrycenko rink of Arran.
Winning the second event was the Ken Newell rink of Norquay with Rubianne Kluke, Alexander Riehl and Evan Rostotski. The group defeated the Richard Johnson rink of Norquay with John Knutson, Brice Dahlin and Kelly Butterfield.
Placing second and third in the event were Chrissy Pelechaty of Pelly and Ed Nelson of Pelly.
The Paul Abrahamson rink of Norquay, with Pat Ferris, Vince Northrop and Zach Newell topped the Andrew Severson rink of Pelly which included Andrew Severson, Chris Chernoff, Blaze Seitz, Jordan Vogel and Chance Bourque.
Placing third and fourth in the third event were the Shaker City Shooters of Benito, Man., and Wes Lylyk of Arran.
Lorne Mydynski won both of the bonspiel’s 50/50 draws.
