Charity Road Race training clinics starting soon

The Yorkton Co-op and Swim Bike Run presents the Health Foundation of East Central Saskatchewan Charity Road Race Learn to Run clinics.

The Yorkton Co-op and Swim Bike Run presents the Health Foundation of East Central Saskatchewan Charity Road Race Learn to Run clinics.

Clinics are designed for the beginning runner or for those who want to prepare to walk the Health Foundation's Charity Road Race and will feature nutrition, stretching and pacing yourself. Clinic sessions are weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays) beginning May 10 at 5:45 p.m., and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

You are invited to become involved even after the first session has started.

The location will be the Yorkton Regional High School parking lot.

Start running with other beginning runners and also learn to run at your own pace. You are also invited to join in even if you miss the first clinic.

There is no cost for the clinics, but runners must register for the Charity Road Race, which is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, August 21.

The Race is being sponsored by the Yorkton Co-op and SBR Sportstore Yorkton.
