The 25th Annual Student/Teacher Benefit hockey game is scheduled for March 23 (Wed) at 7 p.m., at the Farrell Agencies Arena.

Students taking part in the game will be Sacred Heart, Yorkton Regional and new this year, the Melville Comprehensive High School. They will be playing against their teachers.

This year's beneficiary is Melissa Mish, a Gr. 10 student at Melville Comprehensive. She is also a member of the Midget AAA Prairie Fire hockey team. Melissa was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease and she will need to travel to Regina and Winnipeg over the next several months for Chemotherapy.

Perry Enns and Dean DePape, both teachers at Sacred Heart, said they are really hoping to be able to raise enough money to help offset the heavy costs at this time.

"We are hoping that this year's event will continue to be successful, and with your help, we will achieve our goal of helping the family of Melissa Mish in this difficult time. We are asking for a $50 donation on behalf of your company or business. With your donation, your business name will be included in the game program and your support will be announced to the crowd during the game."

Cheques can be made payable to Sacred Heart High School, 280 Gladstone, Yorkton, SK, S3N 2Z3. Any questions may be directed to Enns or DePape at 783-3128.

Tickets to the game can also be purchased at the door for only $2. Please inform staff members within your organization who may wish to attend the game and help support Melissa and her family.
