In their second-to-last home game for the regular season, the Outlook Ice Hawks put up a valiant effort against the visiting Delisle Bruins on Friday night, January 13, but it wasn’t enough to put them away before the game came to an end.
The third period in particular was a back and forth affair that saw both rosters dish out some impressive puck-handling, but the Bruins managed to stay ahead of the Hawks and ended up leaving the ice victorious at a score of 5-3.
Goals scored by Delisle were made by #9 Kevin Mryglod (2), #24 Travis Sparrow, #20 Blake Rolston, and #21 Brett Casey. Goals scored by Outlook were made by #24 Justin Bernhardt, #85 Ryan Husband, and #25 Shay Stephenson.
The Ice Hawks are set to play their last home game of the regular SVHL season this Sunday afternoon, January 22 when the team plays host to the Kenaston Blizzard. The action on the ice gets underway at 2:30.
