The Senior AA Tier 4 Provincial Baseball Championships were held in Langenburg from August 12-14.
Seven teams from across Saskatchewan played throughout the weekend, but the home team came away with the gold medal.
Langenburg Indians head coach Jeff Hartung said the caliber of the competition was high at the tournament. “Once we got into the playoffs, the games were very close.”
The Indians beat the Elrose Aces in the championship game. The final score was 8-0.
