Monster truck mayhem takes over grandstand in Yorkton

A highlight of the show was the transforming car cruncher Megasaurus.

YORKTON - Thanks in large part to the support of Key Chevrolet Buick GMC, the Outlaws of Motorports  brought two days of monster truck action to Yorkton.

While spirits may have been dampened a little Friday night as a heavy rain hit the city just as the show as about to start dealing action, it was bright and sunny for the Saturday afternoon show,

And a grandstand packed to over flowing was on hand to watch the big trucks put through their paces, including Identity Theft, the fire breathing Spitfire and Weekend Warrior.

A highlight of the show was the transforming car cruncher Megasaurus, brought to Yorkton by Maple Ag & Outdoor Ltd.

Standing three stories tall, Megasaurus packs 15 tons of lifting force and 7.5 tons of crushing power in each claw, the giant beast made short work of a car much to the delight of the crowd.
