Norquay senior boys basketball team wins bronze at Regionals

The Norquay School’s senior Knights boys basketball team won the bronze medal at the Regional competition in Canora March 11 and 12.

The Norquay School’s senior Knights boys basketball team won the bronze medal at the Regional competition in Canora March 11 and 12.

The Knights first lost to the Regina Harvest City team 109 to 48, and then defeated the Porcupine Plain team 74-63 to place third out of the four teams competing.

In order to qualify to advance to the Regionals, the Knights competed at the Conferences at Preeceville March 4 and 5 when they defeated Preeceville 70 to 50, and then lost to Canora 73-55.

The bronze medal win ends the season for the team.
