The Outlook River Hawks senior men’s baseball team has been regaining some much-needed momentum recently after a string of losses in the Fertile Valley Baseball League.
On Monday, June 18, the team motored to Kindersley to take on the hosting Royals, and the tide shifted over to Outlook’s side during the action, allowing them to leave the diamond victorious at a score of 7-5.
Feeling that sense of momentum, the Hawks carried things over in a game played at home on Wednesday, June 20 against the Eatonia Wheat Kings. In front of the hometown crowd, Outlook was once again the winning roster, this time at a commanding score of 18-8 over Eatonia.
This past Monday night, the River Hawks motored to Elrose to take on the Aces, where Outlook managed to keep up its winning ways, staving off the onslaught of the hometown Aces en route to a 9-5 victory, putting the team on a 3-game winning streak they hope to maintain.
The River Hawks will be hoping for another win when they play host to the Kindersley Stallions tonight at home.
