Thursday saw two games played in the Richardson Pioneer Fastball League.
In Fishing Lake the Rosebud Jr. Royals thumped the host Fishing Lake team 25 – 0.
Koby Faubert was the winning pitcher, while Austin Paquachon took the loss.
The Junior Royals came out quick and had a 7-0 lead after the first and kept rolling throughout the game, building leads of 11-0 and 17-0 after the second and third innings, respectively. Koby Faubert threw a complete game 4-hit shutout with four Junior Royals having 4-hit nights.
The same evening the Wynyard Blues topped the Rosebud Juniors 16 – 2.
Winning pitcher was Mike Jordan, with the loss tagged on Griffen Helberg.
Mike Anderson hit a home run for Wynyard and Luke Scutchings matched that for the Rosebud Juniors.
With the score 2-2 heading into the third, the Blues would have two huge innings at the plate. The Blues had a solid lineup from top to bottom and managed to put together an impressive string of hits enroute to the win
