The Kozie Drywall Pee Wee Yorkton Terriers completed a sweep of the Moose Mountain Wild Saturday before a good-sized crowd at the Kinsmen Arena.

The South Saskatchewan Minor Hockey League 2010-11 season came to an end with the Terriers going into overtime for the second game in as many nights. They also won for the second straight night, 4-3 with an overtime marker that looked like it was going to be waived off. Moose Mountain players and coaches argued they thought the puck was tipped by a high stick, however the goal stood to give Yorkton the win.

Ed Zawatsky, Yorkton head coach, told the paper that none of his players were too uptight going into the overtime situation as none of them believed they'd be leading the series 1-0.

"I told them 'we're not supposed to be up 1-0'," said Zawatsky.

Zawatsky said the series was expected to be one of the hardest to play before it began.

The night before the win, they had to travel to Carlyle to play game one, which also need extra time to settle the score, which needed the better part of five periods to end.

Zawatsky told the paper that when a game gets to that point, it's not necessarily who wins and who losses but how the kids are going to make it through playing so much hockey in one night.

"Hopefully they had enough to eat and drink," he said. He added that the goal came from Zack Andrusiak and came just moments after the Terriers had killed off a penalty.

Alec Zawatsky had a pair of goals in the win, Andrusiak's OT goal was also his second on the night, while Carson Miller added a single.

In the series-clinching win on Saturday, Kylan Shea opened the scoring in the first, Andrusiak scored the second goal, while Brayden Miller and Zawatsky rounded out the scoring.
