YORKTON - The Yorkton Terriers took to the ice in Flin Flon Sunday against the league’s best team for the second straight day, and for their third game in as many days and found goals hard to come by – extremely hard to come by.

The Terriers would muster 41 shots, but none of them eluded Flin Flon netminder Kenneth Marquart who posted a shut-out.

At the same time Adam Kelly would be bombarded with 55 shots, allowing four to find the twine.

The first period was a scoreless affair, but the Bombers potted three in the second.

Anthony Piccininno started things at 5:33, followed by Justin Lies on the powerplay – there were 24 minor penalties in the contest – at 12:55, and then Anthony Bax at 16:58.

Bax was back in the third frame to score his second of the game to round out the 4-0 score – this one a powerplay effort at 1:14.

The Terriers are now off until a home-and-home set with Estevan, starting in the Bruins rink Friday, Feb. 2, and back at the Westland Insurance Arena Saturday, Feb. 3.

The Terriers are then on the road in Battlefords Feb. 6, and Kindersley Feb. 7.
