Big Sky Farms announced that it was doing a feasibility study on a proposal to building additional breeder and nursery hog barns in either the RM of Invermay or the RM of Buchanan.

The Canora town office received numerous complaints about the town’s one-year experiment to see if front curb garbage collection would work year round. Although most of the callers complained about the idea, there were a few who expressed positive observations.

Ivan Peterson of Hazel Dell was named the chairman of the Sunrise Regional Health Authority. He was the chairman of the Assiniboine Valley Health District prior to the amalgamations that created the Sunrise Health Region.
