Dear Editor:
Our airhead PM opines that it is Canada East which has to do a marketing job on pipelines to the public, not him. He perversely ignores the Big Environmental eco-fascists like Greenpeace, the Sierra Club and Saudi Arabia, which pour (using anonymous financial holding companies) hundreds of millions of dollars into Quebec, and assorted aboriginal bands like Aquasasne, to buy their opposition to pipelines. This evil scheme is amplified by liberal politicians who see their role as saviours of mankind, and have adopted the fraud of climate change as an excuse to savage our economy and society in the service of their exalted ideals.
Hence the stupidity of ignoring Asia’s 60% of world pollution to focus on Canada’s 2%, by suppressing fracking of natural gas (60% less polluting than coal) but never complaining of the record exports of dirty coal to Asia from North America to meet the latter’s carbon emissions targets. No thought of a global solution to a global problem here.
Research has also shown that North America can supply enough natural gas to meet world needs for 400 years, thus ensuring permanent economic revival and the capacity to meet the challenge of radical Islam. Our eco-fascists prefer to destroy our economy and culture by driving up the cost of of energy sources other than renewables. They suppress research proving that, together with improved nuclear technology, which has been deliberately over-priced, fossil fuel does not have to be outlawed, and we can save western civilization and prosper too.
