In Outlook and the surrounding regional area, the common belief among many is that the May long weekend generally signifies the unofficial start to the summer recreational season.  So what does that mean exactly?  It means Lake Diefenbaker becomes a pretty busy body of water, whether it’s people taking the boat out on the water, taking in some sun, and even finding a good spot and fishing from the shoreline.  Down in Elbow, the marina was a hotbed of activity as visitors launched their boats to enjoy a day out on the lake, and at Danielson Provincial Park near Gardiner Dam, people hoping for a bite tried their luck fishing from the shore.  With the weather only set to get warmer, many people are looking forward to these kinds of activities and enjoying another season of fun in the sun this summer.
