Crossroads Credit Union gives back to schools

PREECEVILLE - The Crossroads Credit Union, Preeceville and Sturgis branches gave back to local schools with special donations to each of their breakfast programs and students. On October 21, Crossroads members from each branch were at each of the schools to give the presentations.

In Preeceville, the school’s breakfast program received a donation that was accepted by Calla Erickson. Kendra Hueser, a student at the school was randomly selected as the winner in the Crossroads Credit Union colouring contest. She received a gift bag with prizes and $150 that will be used to purchase books for her classroom library.

In Sturgis, the Crossroads Credit Union donated $200 to the Sturgis Community Council that will be used towards the Nutrition Program or to purchase books for the Sturgis Composite School’s library. Kolton Fortin was randomly selected as the Crossroads Credit Union winner of their colouring contest, and received a gift bag and $150 to be used towards scholastic books for his classroom.
