Long-running Yorkton event in its 67th year.

YORKTON - The 67th Threshermen's Show and Seniors' Festival was again a highlight of the long weekend in Yorkton.

The long-running show held at the Western Development Museum in the city is a step back in time in terms of Prairie agriculture with a range of demonstrations and static displays.

Demos including operations of a steam sawmill, a steam operated threshing demonstration, a horse drawn binger, and stooking work.

In addition, a blacksmith plied his trade, flour was ground on-site, and bread baked in a clay oven, then serving up always popular bread and jam.

There was also a display of vintage vehicles, another of old tractors, one related to the heritage of gardening, as well as live entertainment.

The show would run both Saturday and Sunday.
