YORKTON — Residents, family and friends gathered July 9, to enjoy ‘Fun In the Sun’ hosted at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home.
With the high heat Wednesday most of the event other than a vintage tractor display, petting zoo with goats and chickens, and the lunch BBQ were taken indoors to the relief of all.
Inside were two entertainment stations, Lawrence Kitz performing at Country Meadow and the Rama Rednecks at the Cornerstone Therapies Entrance.
The event was hosted by the Recreation Department (Macys Rec Team) at the nursing home.
